Description
Barking on command together with a live orchestra playing Leopold Mozart, that's the task Cookie, Sophus and Sica are performing with the Danish Chamber Orchestra.
The three dogs have been chosen for their barking skills that fit with the music of “Hunting Symphony” a little known piece by Leopold Mozart, the father of Wolfgang Amadeus, very rarely performed with dogs on stage, orchestras using recorded sounds.
At rehearsal, the placid dogs were listening unbothered to the first movements of the piece before coming in front of the orchestra to perform their part.
“If I had to be there all by myself, I think I will be nervous but all the attention is at her, she is the star. I'm just behind her with all the treats”, the master of Cookie, a four-year-old Spanish Water Dog, Helle Lauvring, told AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
