Hundreds of migrants take shelter in flimsy tents near a bus terminal in Mexico City as they seek to reach the United States. Around 9,000 migrants arrive at Mexico's southern border every day, around 3,000 of whom have traversed the Darien Gap, a dense jungle on the border between Colombia and Panama.
