Lebanese soldiers deploy in the Akkar region's Wadi Khaled area, a key location for illegal border crossings from Syria, during a media tour organised by the military. Lebanese authorities have ramped up efforts to confront irregular crossings, and say they have prevented thousands of Syrians from slipping through Lebanon's porous border with war-torn Syria in recent weeks.
