Description
Grey skies and dry air without a trace of sunshine envelop Tajikistan's capital, Dushanbe, amid a toxic sandstorm. Harmful storms like this are becoming increasingly common across Central Asia. "I can't stop coughing. I'm fed up with this dust choking me," says Munira Khushkadamova, a teacher diagnosed with respiratory failure resulting from the storms, which experts say are caused by climate change.
