Following Hamas's surprise offensive against Israel from Gaza, Gerald Darmanin met representatives of French Jewish institutions in Paris. "All the conflicts that can arise in the Middle East end up mechanically translating into an increase in anti-Semitic acts in France," explains Yonathan Arfi, president of the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions (Crif).
