Thousands of members of Islamic organisations gather on the streets Dhaka, Bangladesh, to protest against Israel's military action in Gaza, being conducted after a surprise weekend attack by Hamas militants on Israeli settlements. Protesters, chanting slogans and holding anti-Israel placards, march under the banner of the Islamic Andolon Bangladesh (Islamic Movement Bangladesh) and 'Combined Islamic Alliance' in two separate events in front of Bangladesh's national mosque. The protest comes as Israel continues to bombard Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip having on Sunday declared war on the Islamist group. IMAGES
