An Israel aid charity in north London has been so inundated with donations they are asking the public to stop offering goods, for the moment, as they sort and prepare the items in their warehouse to be sent to those affected by the recent conflict around Gaza, says its programme director, Shira Joseph. GIFT is a charity established to encourage people to be more charitable and helpful in their community but has turned its attentions towards supporting those in need in Israel, as well as any people who are travelling to London for safety.
