Description
Warsaw residents react to exit polls showing that the country's pro-European opposition has won a parliamentary majority in the parliamentary elections, paving the way for potentially huge change after eight years of nationalist rule.
"I think that we are moving in a better direction and that something is finally going to change in our country," says one resident.
According to the polls, the populist-nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) ruling party would obtain 36.6% but would not have a sufficient majority to govern.
The Civic Coalition (centrist) would get 31%, the Third Way (Christian Democrat) 13.5%, the New Left (socialist) 8.6% and Confederation (far-right) 6.4%. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
