At the Tallhojden nursing home in Sodertalje, Sweden, a fake bus stop has been installed in a hallway to ease the minds of anxious dementia patients eager to leave. "It is quite common especially with Alzheimer's and a dementia diagnosis that you want to go home," says Caroline Wahlberg, the manager of the retirement home. In a brightly lit corridor, a bench is pushed up against the wall under a map of the city and an authentic-looking bus stop sign with the city's municipal transport logo.
