Stars of David, a symbol of the Jewish religion and the State of Israel, have been stenciled in blue on the facades of several buildings in Paris, prompting the public prosecutor's office to opened an investigation. The probe, which is for damage to other people's property, aggravated by the motive targeting origin, race, ethnicity or religion, has been entrusted to the district's police station, the public prosecutor's office said.
