Working as a nurse in her rural northern Nigerian village with no electricity, Andat Datau has delivered babies and given injections by torchlight. That is until last year, when Datau's health care clinic in Nasarawa State hooked up to a solar-powered mini-grid, which supplies half of her community's households and businesses with almost constant electricity.
