Description
Kunsthaus Zurich, one of Switzerland's top art museums, launches a new exhibition aimed at clarifying whether any of its artworks might be cultural property looted by the Nazis. The museum faces criticism over its collection, inherited from arms dealer Emil Buhrle, who made his fortune during World War II and acquired most of his collection in the 1950s. "We thought that it was important to openly address the problematic issues that have been discussed" says Ann Demeester, the museum's director. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
