A former US State Department official who resigned from his position last month to protest US arms transfers to Israel amid the conflict in Gaza says he believes Israeli forces are committing potential war crimes in the Palestinian enclave. "It is my opinion that Israel is committing war crimes in its actions in Gaza right now," Josh Paul, who served as director of the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs at the US State Department, says during an interview with AFP in Washington. "And it's not just my opinion.
