STOCKSHOTS of the Pira Paran rainforest, in Colombia's southeastern department of Vaupes, which is home to six Indigenous ethnic group and covers an area of 7,100 km2. This area of the Colombian Amazon is key to curbing climate change because of the capacity of its trees to absorb greenhouse gases.
