The El Patron barbershop in Medellin's Pablo Escobar neighborhood commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Colombian drug lord's death. "Pablo Escobar represents a person who marked the history of Colombia, who marked many people, who marked a whole country. In fact, it can be said that he marked the whole world," says manager Santiago Montoya Zapata. The barbershop, named after one of Escobar's nicknames, serves as a space where people can learn about the history. Drug lord Escobar was gunned down by police in Medellin in 1993.
