Thousands of visitors to London's Covent Garden gravitate daily towards gripping acrobatic, comedic and dangerous acts performed by seasoned buskers. However, street performers say their livelihoods are being threatened by proposed local council rules seeking to regulate disruption from noise and large crowds. "Its a quintessentially British cultural institution and a huge grassroots success story.
