Description
"I come to tell the story, many have left and will not return," sings Yuliana Andrea Torres, 16, along with dozens of young people from the regions most affected by the violence in Colombia. A group of 40 Colombian musicians met in Bogota as part of the "Paz al Oido" project, a government initiative. Afro-Colombian rhythms from the Pacific, Indigenous instruments from the Sierra Nevada, rap, and vallenato come together in a single song, a cry against violence and a celebration of the country's musical diversity.
