An electric delivery robot, modelled after the iconic French Citroen H-Type vans, wanders through the snowy streets of Helsinki, delighting residents with its blinking eyes and amusing appearance. This Christmas season, Helsinki is exploring the feasibility of using autonomous robots to tackle the challenge of delivering gifts and packages amid the snowy and sleety conditions of the Nordic country. The URBANE project, funded by the EU for four years, is dedicated to developing emission-free last-mile solutions.
