Description
A voting center was ransacked by protesters in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, in Bunia, the capital of Ituri. People who took part in the rampage said they were displaced by the conflict, and were frustrated at not being able to vote. General elections were taking place in the country, in a chaotic atmosphere marked by severe logistical problems and delays. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
