Description
As part of an operation to combat a campaign of terror waged by organised crime gangs, Ecuador's police, military, and traffic officers are on patrol searching for weapons and explosives in various areas of Guayaquil. With around 80 military personnel mobilised in trucks, the operation aims to ensure public safety by apprehending potential suspects. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
