With a day to go until South Africa play Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals, coach Hugo Broos says the Bafana Bafana squad "don't underestimate" their next opponents, even though their recent win against Morocco gave them "a boost of confidence". While most teams at the AFCON rely heavily on players based in Europe, South Africa stand out in having an almost entirely home-based squad.
