Spanish farmers want fair competition in an increasingly deregulated market that imports agricultural products at low prices from countries outside the European Union that are not subject to Europe's tough legislation. "They obtain bigger harvests, bigger productions with production costs that are much lower, and they enter here with prices that are a lot lower. That is not a way to compete.
