Description
Relatives of those who died in a doomsday starvation cult in Kenya cry out with grief after viewing the remains of their loved ones as authorities began releasing the bodies of victims, almost a year since the discovery of mass graves. "I just found bones, nothing else," says Francis Wanje, who lost eight family members. Roseline Odede, chair of the state-backed Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), laments the slow process of identifying the victims and the release of the bodies. "There are 390 plus bodies yet to be identified positively. Going at this rate we are going to be here for 10 years," she tells reporters in the coastal town of Malindi. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
