Description
Security forces in Togo break up a press conference staged by opposition parties and civil society groups. The opposition group organised the conference after the West African country's parliament voted for a new constitution on March 25, changing the presidential system to a parliamentary one. Around 30 gendarmes armed with truncheons broke up the press conference saying the event in the capital Lome did not have the necessary authorisation. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
