The purchase price of cocoa for farmers in the Ivory Coast, the world's leading producer, has been set at 1,500 CFA francs per kilo for the intermediate harvest, a record increase of 50%, at a time when world prices are soaring, the Minister of Agriculture, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, announces at a press conference.
