According to the police, 200 people have gathered at a pro-Israel rally in Berlin to call for the release of all hostages from the besieged Gaza strip. The demonstrators rallied at Sderotplatz (Sderot Square) in the south-west of the city, flying Israeli flags and holding photos of some of the hostages believed to still be held. The German-Israeli Society of Berlin and Brandenburg organised the demonstration entitled "Bring them home now! No more excuses! The international community is not protecting the people of Gaza".
