A controversial gathering of hard-right European politicians organised in Brussels in the run-up to the European elections has come to an abrupt end, following a series of bans issued by the local authorities. Police have set up a roadblock at the entrance to the conference room to prevent participants from entering. French polemicist and politician Eric Zemmour, who was due to speak at the conference, was unable to enter, whilst British right-wing politician Nigel Farage rails against what he calls "cancel culture".
