Description
Rwanda’s Fashion designer Moise Turahirwa’s thriving career almost ended with their arrest a year ago for sharing a post on Instagram claiming that their passport was changed to reflect their gender. Now, out on bail, the founder of the brand Moshions is getting back to creating their gender-fluid looks and aspiring for wider recognition of their home-grown creativity. “The fashion scene in Rwanda, it's not recognized, I would say, it's not globally recognized, but it is existing. So, it is a dream to (be) discover,” they say. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES
