Guatemalan President Bernardo Arevalo promises on his 100th day in office that he will not rest until he achieves the dismissal of attorney general Consuelo Porras, who has put his takeover at risk. "We will not rest until we achieve through legal means the removal of this threat to democracy", he says in reference to Porras, who at the end of 2023 pushed for investigations against him, his party and the elections.
