At the inauguration of the Georges Vallerey swimming pool in eastern Paris, which is reopening after extensive renovation work and will host training sessions during the Paris Olympics, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, has set herself the task of reassuring those who doubt the the Seine will be ready for people to swim in it, and inviting President Macron to swim too. 'I know there are still plenty of sceptics out there', says the Mayor of Paris.
