Description
The Philippine Coast Guard says their Chinese counterparts "elevated the tension" in the South China Sea by using water cannons on two of its vessels, damaging one of them on Tuesday.
Despite no personnel injuries, Philippine Coast Guard spokesperson Jay Tarriela says the water cannon pressure used by the Chinese Coast Guard would have been "very fatal" if it had hit anyone on board. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
