In Salindres, southern France, near a plant that manufactures PFAS chemicals for the pesticide and pharmaceutical industries, the Générations Futures (Future Generations ed.) association is taking samples of water from nearby rivers and from the drinking water of Moussac, a village some twenty kilometres from the plant, to measure the presence of these so-called 'forever chemicals' which, according to some scientific research, pose serious risks to humans and animals.
