Holocaust survivor Daniel Luz, 86, bursts into tears as he visits the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp for the first time to take part in the annual memorial "March for the Living". Luz lost Jewish family members during the Second World War and went on to survive the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel last year at his home in Kibbutz Be'eri. "I survived the camps I was sent to in France because the conditions weren't as terrible," he says, "but in Be'eri I feared for my life for the first time". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
