Description
Colombian former soldiers responsible for war crimes plant trees in Bogota as part of an unprecedented "restorative justice" program. Planting trees is part of retired general Henry Torres' punishment for 303 murders committed by soldiers under his command in Colombia. Stemming from the historic 2016 peace agreement with FARC guerrillas, this initiative, however, receives mistrust from the families of victims, who do not find it "restorative" at all.
