Anti-right protest fills the streets of Madrid this weekend in response to the event organised by Vox at the Palacio de Vistalegre. Dozens of far-right leaders, including Argentinian president Javier Milei, will gather at the Europa Viva 24, a meeting that has provoked an immediate reaction from Madrid's social movements. Under the slogan ‘The far-right is not welcome’, the organisation La Plaza calls for a demonstration in Callao that congregates almost 300 Argentinian and Spanish people. In parallel, several progressive organisations from all over Madrid call for anti-right mobilisations to protest against what many define as a "gathering of fascism on an international level."
