Description
"There are many people around here who know her and hope she doesn't become president," says 76-year-old Feliz Manso at a tortilla shop in the outskirts of Tepatepec, the town in central Mexico where Xochitl Galvez spent her formative years. As the 61-year-old enters the final hurdle of her campaign to become Mexico's first woman president, the businesswoman and senator still divides opinions in her rural hometown. "She's not very popular around here, but the problem is that people believe everything they hear," says another local. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
