Budget British airline Easyjet is gearing up for its busiest summer since the Covid pandemic, with around 2,000 mostly-European flights a day. The airline has opened a new control centre north of London where increased staff numbers, aided by AI tools, are tasked with handling anything from urgent flight changes to fixing a malfunctioning onboard toilet.
