In a press conference alongside German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron announces that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will take part to the celebration of the D-Day anniversary in France on June 6. Addressing military aid to Ukraine as it struggles against a Russian ground offensive in the northeastern region of Kharkiv, Macron says "we have a clear framework for action, which is to support Ukraine...for as long as is necessary."
