Palestinians walk amid the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. "It's all destruction, no one can live here. Where are the people supposed to go? Where do they go? More than a million people," decries one Gazan woman. An AFP correspondent has reported artillery and gunfire in the Gaza City neighbourhood of Zeitun, in the territory's north, where witnesses saw thick plumes of smoke rising over Jabalia refugee camp and Beit Lahia.
