Passengers on domestic flights were left stranded at the Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport, just hours before Nigerian union leaders suspended a nationwide strike, which aside from disrupting local air travel also shut down the national grid, and closed most federal offices, ports, petrol stations and courts.
