Brazilians dressed in colorful costumes perform as part of the Sao Joao festival in the northeastern state of Ceara, celebrated in June each year.
"Sao Joao is everything to me, it's a wonderful dance where we express our love," says one member of one of the many 'Quadrilha' dance groups performing in the town of Juazeiro do Norte.
