Description
Adire fabric, the popular indigo-dyed textile is emblematic of the culture of the Yorubas, one of the large ethnic groups in Nigeria. But as Africa's most populous nation struggles with high inflation, Nigerians are drawn to the counterfeit Chinese-made adire fabrics, threatening a tradition.
