Wikileaks founder and Australian whisteblower Julian Assange takes off from Bangkok to a court hearing in Saipan in the North Mariana Islands as part of a plea deal that will see him freed, shortly after being released on bail from a high-security prison in the UK. Accused by the US of revealing and publishing thousands of military secrets, Assange has agreed to plead guilty to a single count of conspiracy to obtain and disseminate national defence information.
