Les Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles, one of the world's most renowned photography festivals, is focusing this year on Japanese photography, with an exhibition dedicated to Japanese photographers from the 1950s to the present day. The festival, held at 27 venues in this Provencal town with its rich Roman past, kicked off on Monday and runs until 29 September. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES
