Brexit champion and leader of Reform UK Party Nigel Farage is announced to have won election to the UK parliament, in his eighth attempt, winning a seat for his upstart anti-immigration Reform UK party in Clacton. During his victory speech, Farage says "There is a massive gap on the centre-right of British politics and my job is to fill it," adding that "this Labour government will be in trouble very, very quickly".
