Description
With an often saturated highway network and a limited subway line, Los Angeles is facing a massive transportation system challenge four years ahead of the 2028 Olympics. James Moore, USC professor and expert in transportation systems, says "the goal for the Olympics is that it be car-free. I'm skeptical we'll actually achieve that. That'll mean fielding a much larger number of buses than we have on the road right now. It's going to mean a very careful, well-defined, saturated schedule so that people can get from where they are to where they want to be to see the events they want to see." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
