Description
Handcuffed but smiling, US-Canadian anti-whaling activist Paul Watson is escorted by police after a court in Nuuk, Greenland, ordered that he be kept in custody until 5 September pending a decision on his possible extradition to Japan. "Well it is what it is, and it puts more pressure on Japan for their illegal whaling activities," the 73-year-old tells AFP before entering a police van. IMAGES
