Description
Gabon is set to mark one-year since the August 30 military coup that ousted Gabon’s President Ali Bongo. On the streets of the capital Libreville, some Gabonese share their views on the end of the 55-year rule of the Bongo family and the current government led by General Brice Oligui Nguema. “30 August is liberation day in Gabon,” says Alain Serge Moukagni. “We didn't feel such enthusiasm, such freedom.”
