US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan says there are plans for a leader-level call between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping "in the coming weeks", as he wrapped up a visit to Beijing.
Sullivan, the first NSA to visit China since 2016, met Xi and also sat down with Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other high-ranking officials. Sullivan said the talks with Chinese officials lasted for 14 hours and described the discussions as "constructive, candid, substantive". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
