Spain's head of diplomacy, Jose Manuel Albares, "condemns" the upsurge in violence in the occupied West Bank, where Israel is carrying out a military operation. "It certainly doesn't help the restoration of peace and is further jeopardising what we all know is the key to peace and stability in the Middle East, which is the two-state solution," he tells journalists at the end of a meeting in Paris with his French counterpart Stephane Sejourne.
